Seven of Spades Studio is my little corner of the internet for comics, sketches, concept art, experiments and everything that happens while I’m learning how to become a better artist.
I started this site because I wanted a place where I could actually make things instead of waiting until I felt “good enough” to share them. I started my art journey recently in July 2026 and had never seriously drawn or painted before. Before that, the most I had drawn were stick figures and badly shaped doodles.
The main project on this site will be Dr. Zeke, an emergency-room slice-of-life comic about medical cases big and small, workplace turmoil, long shifts, coworkers with wildly different personalities, awkward moments, and everything that happens between the chaos.
You’ll also find rough (extremely rough) sketches, character designs, perspective studies, paintings, failed experiments, unfinished ideas, and whatever else I happen to be working on.
A lot of the art here will be imperfect and rough around the edges. That’s intentional.
I want this site to be a record of an artist that started from absolute zero and not just the polished and finished results. If you start at the beginning and stick long enough, hopefully, you’ll be able to watch the drawings, storytelling, and comics gradually get better.
That’s basically the idea behind the studio:
Drawn by luck. Built by practice.
Thanks for stopping by.
